About us
Byerlee Buyers Agency was formally put together in 2020 as a licensed agency, but in reality it has been kicking around informally since 2003 when Aaron Byerlee bought his first property in a mining town for $80,000 and sold it a year later for $160,000 before the prices crashed again to record lows in that town. At 23 years of age he was addicted to property instantly.
Timing in property investing is key, as is time in the market, depending on what your goals are. Aaron has always studied the property market, being picky with his selections and over the years has shared his findings with his social media following, subscribers, friends and family. It was time to create a formal business around what he loved and had always done since he was 23.
After successfully investing, flipping, renovating, subdividing around 11 different high-end properties of his own Aaron decided to start a Buyers Agency because he just knows property (Especially the type that brings you in a faster return than your “standard” investment property or the usual “doubling every 10 years). You can do better! Life is too short to go slow, so let’s use information, technology and experience to go faster in creating wealth and cash-flow through property.
Some examples of properties that we have recently found for our clients include:
- 30 acres with 4 bungalows plus the main house. Short term rentals brought him in $144,000 per annum.
- A special kind of government property in QLD that brought in $195,000 in rental income compared to similar properties bringing in$50,000 p.a
- 60 acres on two titles for $1.4 million. 1 title sold for $730,000. The other is now worth $2 million
- Beautiful off market 50 acres where the bridge flooded in mild rain, so nobody wanted to touch it. $1.1 million negotiated down to $800,000. New bridge for $30,000, sold for $1.8 million in 12 months.
- Off the plan new duplex that was valued at $100,000 more once development finished. Rented both for positive cash flow and decided to keep for long term.
- First home owner in Adelaide. 3-bedroom home, passed in at auction, negotiated on their behalf $100,000 off advertised price. Happy first home owners.
